Mr. Simcheck and Mr. Young both have captured the power of Google Spreadsheet in the classroom.

Mr. Young had his science students use Google Spreadsheet, which acts just like Microsoft Excel, to document and create a chart on the number of Shad caught throughout history on the Susquehanna river and in the Chesapeake Bay. Check out the link below. Nice work Mr. Young!

Mr. Simcheck had his pre-algebra class measure and record their heart rates to graph and chart the results. Each student recorded their resting heart rate, exercised, then recorded their heart rates at intervals of 30 seconds in a Google spreadsheet. From there, each student digitally shared their spreadsheet with everyone in the room via Google spreadsheet so everyone had access to other people's heart rates. Take a look at the chart below.
