This tool could be useful for art classes that are looking add special effects to pictures that students had taken. Rather than spend lots of money on a camera that can do these effects, utilize a free Web 2.0 tool that can do it for you. I see this tool being used in art classes the most. I cannot foresee a teacher who is having students create a large photostory or iMovie open this tool to their students simply because it is time consuming. Especially if a project contains 30 pictures, this tool would be way too time consuming for students. For projects with advanced students, this tool could work well and enhance a project greatly. However, I see this tool as something fit for an art class or a short project because of the time it can take to doctor up a picture.
